The Carolina Stingerz Futures 14U will be a development and feeder team into the Carolina Stingerz Gold Showcase Team. The team will emphasize hard work, fortitude, and teamwork to develop and prepare the girls for high school showcase play. The team will play in highly competitive A-bracket tournaments. The team will participate in team clinics run by college coaching staffs and in focused skills clinics using college coaches and professional trainers. The girls and their families will learn what it takes to become a recruitable college athlete. The Stingerz Elite and Stingerz Gold coaches have solid relationships with area Division I, II, III, and Junior College coaches. The coaching staff regularly participates in coaching clinics to stay up to date on the latest techniques and drills used by college teams. During this transformation the Lookouts have successfully joined together a group of quality 2nd year 12U players from Wake, Wayne, Nash, Greene and Halifax counties. The Lookouts are seeking the talents of 1 maybe 2 more players to round out the team, (Pitcher and/or Utility).. The newly reorganized Carolina Lookouts is a team with a strong work ethic and very goal oriented. The players are asked to adopt our rigid EOD workout program and our “at home” practice drills. We ask for commitment from the players and the parents to work hard while away from the field on fine tuning the player’s skills and conditioning. Our team is very family/group oriented with a strong Christian belief and message. The Lookouts coaching staff works diligently to prepare these young ladies for Middle School and eventual High School Teams.
